1.1 Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Use constitute a legally binding agreement between you and SoTrue governing your access to and use of the platform, including all services, features, content, applications, creator tools, gamification systems, rewards programmes, content management interfaces, and functionalities made available through the platform.

By accessing, browsing, registering on, or using SoTrue, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, including the Community Guidelines contained herein, together with the Privacy Policy, and any additional policies, programme rules, creator agreements, monetisation terms, advertising guidelines, filmmaker services, rewards programs or feature specific conditions made available by SoTrue from time to time.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the platform.

1.3 Eligibility

You represent and warrant that you are at least eighteen years of age, or are accessing the platform under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian where permitted by applicable law.

You further represent that you possess the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement under applicable law and that your use of the platform shall comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and governmental requirements.

SoTrue reserves the right to restrict access, suspend accounts, or require additional verification where eligibility requirements are not met.

1.4 Nature of Platform

SoTrue operates as a social OTT platform that combines content streaming, interactive engagement systems, social discovery mechanisms, creator tools, gamification systems, and audience participation features.

The platform enables users to discover, consume, interact with, and engage around films, shows, news content, podcasts, and other forms of long form and short form media made available by filmmakers, production entities, content owners, licensors, and authorised creators.

Content may be made available in multiple formats including:

Segmented Format (“Slices”)

Films, shows, news stories, podcasts, and other content may be structured into sequential units known as Slices. Slices are structured segments of content designed to facilitate discovery, engagement, interaction, and participation while preserving the continuity of the underlying work.

These Slices may collectively constitute the complete content experience and may serve as the primary mode of content consumption on supported devices.

Full Length Format

Where available, content may also be presented in its original uninterrupted format, including on supported devices such as connected television platforms and other viewing environments. Users may engage with content through structured platform features including emotional interactions, reactions, collections, gamification systems, rewards programmes, content sharing, private conversations, quests, creator experiences, and other engagement mechanisms introduced by SoTrue from time to time.

1.5 Intermediary Status and Legal Compliance

SoTrue functions as an intermediary under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and complies with the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, and other applicable Indian laws.

Where applicable, SoTrue may also comply with obligations applicable to online curated content platforms, digital media publishers, advertising platforms, creator ecosystems, and future services offered through the platform.

Nothing contained in these Terms shall be interpreted as limiting any statutory rights, obligations, or protections available to SoTrue under applicable law.

1.6 User Accounts

You may be required to create an account to access certain features of the platform.

You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information and to promptly update such information where necessary.

You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities conducted through your account.

SoTrue reserves the right to suspend, restrict, verify, deactivate, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, Community Guidelines, applicable law, or platform policies.

1.7 User Roles: Viewers and Filmmakers

SoTrue distinguishes between viewers and filmmakers.

Viewers

Viewers consume content in segmented (“Slices”) or full length formats, depending on device availability, and may interact through emotional reactions, collections, gamification systems, rewards programmes, quests, private conversations, content discovery features, and other engagement mechanisms made available through the platform.

Viewers may participate in XP systems, level progression, tier based recognition programmes, streak systems, feedback initiatives, reward programmes, and other platform experiences introduced from time to time.

Filmmakers

Filmmakers include individual filmmakers, production houses, studios, distributors, licensors, rights holders, and other authorised entities approved by SoTrue to upload, distribute, licence, manage, or otherwise make content available through the platform.

Filmmakers and production entities may upload films, shows, news content, podcasts, and other forms of content which may be presented in segmented and full length formats across the platform.

Filmmakers may access filmmaker specific services including content management tools, analytics dashboards, audience engagement insights, emotional interaction reporting, monetisation programmes, distribution services, promotional opportunities, and other filmmaker tools introduced by SoTrue from time to time.

1.8 User Content and Licence

You retain ownership of the content that you upload, publish, distribute, licence, or otherwise make available on SoTrue, subject to the rights granted under these Terms.

Content uploaded by filmmakers may be presented in both segmented and full length formats. Content may be structured into Slices, organised into collections, displayed through discovery systems, recommended to users, and made available through various platform experiences.

By making content available on the platform, you grant SoTrue a worldwide, non exclusive, royalty free, transferable, sublicensable licence to host, store, reproduce, distribute, publicly display, communicate to the public, transmit, adapt, modify, segment, promote, monetise, analyse, and otherwise use such content for the operation, improvement, development, promotion, and commercialisation of the platform.

This licence includes the right to:

• Structure content into Slices

• Generate and associate metadata

• Enable emotional interaction systems

• Enable collections, discovery systems, and recommendation systems

• Integrate gamification features and audience participation systems

• Generate audience insights, engagement reporting, and analytics

• Display content across supported devices and platforms

• Promote content through platform marketing activities

• Support current and future monetisation programmes

Slices are structured sequential segments that together may form the complete content experience. SoTrue may organise, sequence, present, and optimise such segments as part of the platform experience while preserving the integrity of the underlying work.

You represent and warrant that you possess all rights, licences, permissions, approvals, and authorisations necessary to upload, distribute, licence, monetise, and otherwise make such content available through the platform and to grant the rights set forth in these Terms.

1.9 Content Responsibilities and Warranties

You are solely responsible for your content, your conduct, and your use of the platform.

You represent and warrant that your content:

• Does not infringe intellectual property rights

• Does not violate privacy rights or publicity rights

• Does not breach contractual obligations

• Complies with applicable Indian laws

• Complies with these Terms, Community Guidelines, and platform policies

• Does not contain unlawful, misleading, fraudulent, or deceptive information

Without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing, users and filmmakers shall not host, display, upload, modify, publish, transmit, store, update, distribute, or share any information or content that:

• Belongs to another person and to which they do not have any right

• Is defamatory, obscene, pornographic, paedophilic, invasive of another’s privacy, abusive, hateful, or otherwise unlawful

• Is harmful to minors

• Infringes intellectual property rights

• Violates confidentiality obligations

• Deceives or misleads users regarding the origin of content

• Threatens the unity, integrity, defence, security, or sovereignty of India

• Promotes violence, hatred, discrimination, terrorism, or unlawful activity

• Contains viruses, malware, malicious code, or harmful software

• Interferes with platform operations, security systems, or platform integrity Users and filmmakers are solely responsible for ensuring that all content made available through the platform is lawful, accurate, appropriately classified, and supported by all necessary rights and permissions.

1.10 Gamification Systems, Rewards and Recognition Programmes

SoTrue may provide gamification systems designed to encourage participation, engagement, content discovery, feedback collection, audience interaction, and other forms of platform activity.

Such systems may include:

• XP accumulation

• Levels and tier progression

• Streak systems

• Quests

• Badges

• Recognition programmes

• Digital rewards

• Physical rewards

• Exclusive access opportunities

• Community initiatives

• Filmmaker engagement experiences

• Other participation based incentives introduced by SoTrue from time to time

Participation in gamification systems does not create any vested right, property right, contractual entitlement, employment relationship, partnership arrangement, or guarantee of future benefits.

SoTrue reserves the right to determine eligibility, award XP, calculate levels and tiers, establish reward criteria, modify programme rules, suspend participation, revoke benefits, recalculate progression, invalidate activity, or discontinue any gamification feature at any time.

Users shall not manipulate, artificially inflate, automate, simulate, falsify, or otherwise abuse engagement systems for the purpose of obtaining rewards, recognition, platform advantages, monetisation opportunities, or other benefits.

Activities including fake engagement, automated interactions, multiple account abuse, reward fraud, manipulation of platform systems, or any attempt to circumvent platform rules may result in disqualification, forfeiture of rewards, suspension of participation, restriction of platform features, account termination, or other enforcement actions deemed appropriate by SoTrue.

Participation in gamification systems shall at all times remain subject to these Terms, Community Guidelines, applicable laws, and platform policies.

1.11 Rewards, Recognition and Non Monetary Benefits

Participation in rewards programmes may entitle users to receive digital recognition, badges, access opportunities, experiences, merchandise, filmmaker interactions, plaques, invitations, platform recognition, or other benefits determined by SoTrue from time to time.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, rewards have no cash value, are non transferable, may not be exchanged for money, and do not constitute property rights.

SoTrue reserves the right to modify, substitute, suspend, revoke, cancel, or discontinue any reward, benefit, programme, experience, or recognition initiative at any time.

Eligibility for rewards may be subject to verification, platform participation requirements, compliance with platform policies, and other conditions established by SoTrue.

1.12 Filmmaker Verification Requirements

In order to maintain content quality, platform integrity, intellectual property compliance, and user trust, SoTrue requires filmmakers to undergo verification before accessing certain filmmaker features or uploading content to the platform.

Verification requirements may vary depending on whether the applicant is an individual filmmaker, production house, studio, distributor, licensor, rights holder, or other content owner.

Verification procedures may include:

• Identity verification

• Social media verification

• IMDb verification

• One time password verification

• Selfie based verification procedures

• Company registration verification

• GST verification

• CIN verification

• Rights ownership verification

• Additional documentation reasonably required by SoTrue

Submission of verification information does not guarantee approval.

SoTrue reserves the right to approve, reject, suspend, revoke, or re-evaluate filmmaker verification status at any time where concerns arise regarding authenticity, content ownership, legal compliance, intellectual property rights, platform safety, or user protection.

Filmmakers shall promptly notify SoTrue of any material change affecting ownership rights, licensing arrangements, verification information, eligibility status, or authority to distribute content through the platform.

1.13 Filmmaker Monetisation and Revenue Sharing

SoTrue may offer monetisation opportunities to filmmakers, production houses, licensors, rights holders, distributors, studios, and other eligible content owners through programmes established by the platform from time to time. Revenue sharing methodologies, payout calculations, eligibility requirements, minimum payout thresholds, payment schedules, verification requirements, tax treatment, and programme rules may be determined and modified by SoTrue from time to time.

Such monetisation opportunities may include:

• Advertising revenue sharing

• Sponsorship opportunities

• Brand partnerships

• Audience engagement incentive programmes

• Filmmaker reward programmes

• Revenue participation arrangements

• Licensing opportunities

• Promotional campaigns

• Content performance incentives

• Community engagement initiatives

• Other monetisation mechanisms introduced by SoTrue Participation in any monetisation programme shall be subject to:

• Filmmaker verification requirements

• Compliance with these Terms

• Compliance with Community Guidelines

• Verification of content ownership and licensing rights

• Applicable tax obligations

• Regulatory requirements

• Additional programme specific terms communicated by SoTrue

Eligibility for monetisation does not create any guarantee of earnings, future revenue, minimum payouts, continued participation, platform promotion, or monetisation opportunities.

SoTrue reserves the right to determine eligibility, calculate revenue shares, modify monetisation methodologies, withhold payments, recover payments, suspend participation, investigate irregular activity, recalculate earnings, or terminate monetisation programmes where necessary to protect platform integrity, prevent fraud, comply with legal obligations, enforce platform policies, or resolve disputes relating to ownership, licensing rights, payments, engagement activity, or eligibility.

Filmmakers are solely responsible for any taxes, duties, levies, reporting obligations, regulatory filings, or other legal requirements arising from participation in monetisation programmes made available through the platform.

1.14 Advertising and Brand Integrations

SoTrue may display advertisements, promotional content, sponsored content, brand integrations, partnership campaigns, and other commercial communications through the platform.

Advertising may appear across various platform environments, including content discovery surfaces, content feeds, collections, reward systems, filmmaker experiences, content viewing environments, and other platform features.

SoTrue may use behavioural information, engagement information, content interaction signals, contextual information, emotional interaction information voluntarily provided by users, preference information, and other lawful data processing methods to improve advertising relevance, content discovery, platform experiences, and future monetisation capabilities.

At present, certain advertising, sponsorship, and monetisation systems may be under development and may not be publicly available.

Where filmmakers participate in sponsored content, brand integrations, commercial collaborations, or promotional campaigns, filmmakers shall ensure compliance with applicable laws, advertising standards, disclosure requirements, and platform policies.

1.15 Content Moderation and Enforcement

SoTrue uses a combination of automated systems, reporting mechanisms, platform controls, filmmaker review processes, and human moderation to maintain platform integrity and enforce platform policies.

The platform reserves the right to review, restrict, remove, disable access to, demonetise, reclassify, age restrict, suspend distribution of, or otherwise take action regarding content, accounts, interactions, rewards, monetisation activity, or platform behaviour that violates:

• These Terms

• Community Guidelines

• Applicable laws

• Intellectual property rights

• Platform safety standards

• Advertising requirements

• Monetisation requirements

• Platform integrity requirements

Nothing contained in these Terms shall create an obligation on SoTrue to actively monitor all content, interactions, communications, collections, rewards activity, or platform usage.

Moderation decisions may consider severity, credibility, potential harm, legal obligations, user safety, filmmaker rights, intellectual property rights, platform integrity, and regulatory requirements.

1.16 Intellectual Property and Takedown Process

SoTrue respects intellectual property rights and expects all users and filmmakers to do the same.

If you believe content available on the platform infringes copyright, trademark rights, publicity rights, proprietary rights, or other legally recognised interests, you may submit a complaint containing sufficient information to identify:

• The protected work

• The allegedly infringing content

• Ownership rights

• Contact information

• Supporting documentation

Upon receiving actual knowledge in the form of a valid complaint, court order, governmental direction, or legally sufficient notification, SoTrue may remove, disable access to, restrict, demonetise, or otherwise take action regarding the relevant content.

The filmmaker or user responsible for the content may be provided an opportunity to submit additional information, explanations, or counter notifications where appropriate.

Repeat infringers or users engaging in systematic intellectual property violations may be subject to content removal, monetisation restrictions, account suspension, permanent account termination, and legal action where applicable.

1.17 Safety and Abuse Escalation

SoTrue is committed to maintaining a safe platform environment for viewers, filmmakers, advertisers, and other stakeholders.

Reports relating to harmful content, abusive behaviour, harassment, fraud, manipulation, misinformation, exploitation, intellectual property violations, reward abuse, monetisation abuse, or other violations shall be assessed based on severity, credibility, and potential impact.

High risk cases may receive priority review and may be escalated to law enforcement authorities, regulatory agencies, rights holders, payment providers, or other relevant entities where required under applicable law.

SoTrue reserves the right to take immediate action where content, behaviour, platform activity, or monetisation activity presents a risk to users, filmmakers, platform integrity, legal compliance, public safety, or the rights of third parties.

1.18 Child Safety and Minor Protection

SoTrue enforces strict standards designed to protect minors and vulnerable individuals.

Content involving child sexual abuse material, child exploitation, grooming, trafficking, endangerment of minors, or any other unlawful activity involving minors is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate content removal, account termination, monetisation disqualification, and escalation to appropriate authorities.

The platform may implement age restrictions, content classifications, parental controls, access controls, and additional safeguards to promote age appropriate access and user safety.

1.19 Content Classification and Age Ratings

Content made available through SoTrue may be classified based on age suitability, themes, language, emotional intensity, violence, sexual content, substance use, and other relevant considerations.

Filmmakers are responsible for accurately classifying content submitted to the platform.

SoTrue reserves the right to review, modify, supplement, or override content classifications where necessary to maintain compliance with applicable laws, platform standards, or user safety requirements.

Content may be classified using age based classifications including U, U/A 7+, U/A 13+, U/A 16+, A, and other classifications recognised under applicable law.

The platform may implement age gates, content descriptors, access controls, and parental protection mechanisms to support age appropriate viewing experiences.

1.20 Future Platform Features

SoTrue may introduce additional social, community, co viewing, recommendation, engagement, advertising, monetisation, filmmaker, and audience participation features in future versions of the platform.

Such features may include shared viewing experiences, community events, enhanced discovery mechanisms, audience interaction systems, filmmaker engagement tools, and other functionality designed to improve platform experiences.

Where such features materially affect user rights, platform operations, data processing activities, or contractual obligations, SoTrue may update these Terms, the Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines, or other applicable policies.

1.21 AI Driven Recommendations and Personalisation

SoTrue uses algorithmic systems, recommendation technologies, machine learning models, and other automated processes to improve content discovery, user experience, platform engagement, and future monetisation capabilities.

These systems may analyse information including:

• Viewing behaviour

• Slice consumption behaviour

• Content interactions

• Emotional reactions voluntarily provided by users

• Collection activity

• Search behaviour

• Engagement patterns

• User preferences

• Content metadata

• Genre preferences

• Other platform interaction signals

Such systems are designed to improve content relevance, personalisation, content discovery, filmmaker insights, platform intelligence, and user experience.

Any emotional interactions captured by the platform are based on reactions voluntarily selected by users and are used to improve platform functionality, recommendation systems, audience understanding, filmmaker analytics, and future advertising capabilities. Such interactions may be used to improve content discovery, platform experiences, filmmaker insights, recommendation systems, audience analytics, and future advertising capabilities.

Users are not subject to decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

SoTrue may continue to develop and improve recommendation systems, emotional intelligence systems, content intelligence systems, advertising systems, and audience analytics systems over time.

1.22 Platform Availability and Disclaimer

The platform is provided on an “as is”, “as available”, and “with all faults” basis.

SoTrue does not guarantee:

• Continuous platform availability

• Uninterrupted access

• Error free operation

• Availability of specific content

• Availability of specific rewards

• Availability of monetisation opportunities

• Accuracy of recommendations

• Availability of specific platform features

The platform may be modified, suspended, restricted, updated, discontinued, or enhanced at any time without prior notice.

SoTrue reserves the right to introduce, remove, replace, modify, or discontinue platform features, content formats, monetisation programmes, rewards systems, filmmaker tools, advertising systems, recommendation systems, social features, and platform functionality.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, all warranties, representations, and guarantees not expressly provided herein are disclaimed.

1.23 Beta Platform and Testing Environment

SoTrue may be made available through limited access programmes, pilot programmes, testing environments, demonstrations, investor previews, filmmaker onboarding programmes, friends and family releases, closed beta releases, or other pre launch distributions.

Features, content, rewards programmes, monetisation systems, recommendation systems, filmmaker tools, and platform functionality available during such periods may be incomplete, experimental, modified, suspended, or discontinued without notice.

Users acknowledge that participation in such programmes may involve the testing of new features, interfaces, content experiences, and platform functionality and that feedback provided to SoTrue may be used to improve the platform.

1.24 Limitation of Liability and Indemnity

To the maximum extent permitted under applicable law, SoTrue, its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, contractors, licensors, service providers, and representatives shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, punitive, or economic damages arising out of or relating to:

• Use of the platform

• Inability to access the platform

• Content made available through the platform

• User conduct

• Filmmaker conduct

• Monetisation programmes

• Rewards programmes

• Recommendation systems

• Platform interruptions

• Data loss

• Security incidents

• Third party actions

The aggregate liability of SoTrue arising from any claim relating to the platform shall not exceed the amount paid by the user to SoTrue, if any, during the twelve month period preceding the claim.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SoTrue, its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, contractors, licensors, and representatives from and against any claims, liabilities, losses, damages, costs, expenses, penalties, or legal fees arising from:

• Your use of the platform

• Your violation of these Terms

• Your violation of applicable law

• Your infringement of intellectual property rights

• Content uploaded, shared, distributed, or otherwise made available by you

• Fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful conduct

1.25 Grievance Redressal Mechanism

In compliance with the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, and other applicable laws, SoTrue has established a grievance redressal mechanism. Users, filmmakers, rights holders, advertisers, and other stakeholders may submit complaints relating to:

• Content

• User conduct

• Intellectual property

• Privacy

• Platform operations

• Rewards programmes

• Monetisation programmes

• Advertising activity

SoTrue designates appropriate compliance personnel in accordance with applicable law. Where required under applicable law, SoTrue may designate:

• Other compliance personnel as may be required

SoTrue may cooperate with law enforcement authorities, courts, government agencies, regulatory bodies, and other competent authorities in connection with investigations, legal proceedings, public safety concerns, fraud prevention, intellectual property enforcement, and other matters permitted or required by law.

Where legally required, SoTrue may preserve, disclose, or provide access to information in accordance with applicable legal processes.

1.28 Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.

Any dispute, claim, controversy, or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms, the platform, content, monetisation programmes, rewards systems, or user activity shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

Nothing contained herein shall restrict SoTrue from seeking interim, injunctive, equitable, or protective relief before any court or authority having jurisdiction.

Continued use of the platform following such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

1.30 Community Guidelines

The Community Guidelines set forth in Section 2 of these Terms form an integral part of this agreement and govern user conduct, content standards, platform interactions, rewards participation, filmmaker activity, and other behaviour on the platform.

All users and filmmakers are required to comply with the Community Guidelines at all times. Violations may result in enforcement actions including content removal, feature restrictions, monetisation restrictions, suspension, termination, or other actions deemed appropriate by SoTrue.

SECTION 2

2. Community Guidelines

2.1 Platform Role as Intermediary

SoTrue operates as an intermediary platform that enables filmmakers, production houses, distributors, licensors, rights holders, and other authorised entities to upload and distribute films, shows, news content, podcasts, and other forms of media content.

Content may be presented in segmented sequential units (“Slices”) as well as in full length format on supported devices. Slices are structured segments of content that together may constitute the complete content experience.

The platform may also provide engagement features including emotional interactions, collections, quests, rewards programmes, XP systems, levels, tiers, streaks, and other participation based mechanisms designed to enhance content discovery and audience engagement.

SoTrue does not initiate the transmission of content, select the receiver of the transmission, or modify the information contained therein, except where required for platform functionality, safety enforcement, content moderation, or compliance with applicable law.

Users and filmmakers acknowledge that they are solely responsible for the content they upload, publish, distribute, licence, transmit, or otherwise make available through the platform.

2.2 User Responsibilities and Due Diligence

Users are required to comply with all applicable laws while using the platform. You agree not to host, display, upload, modify, publish, transmit, store, distribute, licence, or share any content that is unlawful, harmful, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, invasive of another person’s privacy, misleading, fraudulent, or otherwise objectionable.

You must not impersonate another person, misrepresent your identity, create accounts for fraudulent purposes, or provide inaccurate information during registration, verification, or platform participation.

Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of account credentials and ensuring that all information provided to SoTrue is accurate, complete, and up to date.

Users are responsible for ensuring that participation in platform engagement features, including collections, quests, rewards programmes, XP systems, level progression mechanisms, tier systems, streak systems, and related platform experiences is genuine and compliant with these Guidelines.

Users must not create multiple accounts, use automated systems, engage in deceptive activity, or otherwise attempt to obtain rewards, benefits, recognition, monetisation opportunities, or platform advantages through artificial means.

2.3 Prohibited Content and Conduct

Content that threatens the unity, integrity, defence, security, or sovereignty of India, or that incites violence, public disorder, or unlawful activity, is strictly prohibited.

Content that promotes hatred, discrimination, or hostility against individuals or groups based on religion, caste, ethnicity, nationality, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics is not permitted.

Any content involving child sexual abuse material, child exploitation, grooming, trafficking, or endangerment of minors is strictly prohibited and may be reported to the appropriate authorities.

Users must not upload, distribute, licence, or otherwise make available content that infringes intellectual property rights, violates confidentiality obligations, or breaches contractual commitments.

The platform does not permit false, misleading, deceptive, or manipulated information intended to deceive users, cause harm, commit fraud, or undermine public trust.

The use of bots, fake engagement systems, automated scripts, coordinated manipulation networks, or any artificial means to manipulate platform activity is prohibited.

Users must not manipulate XP accumulation, rewards programmes, level progression systems, streak systems, quests, recommendation systems, discovery systems, emotional interaction systems, or other engagement mechanisms made available through the platform.

Filmmakers, production entities, and users must not artificially inflate viewership, audience engagement, emotional interactions, content performance metrics, rewards eligibility, monetisation outcomes, or other platform metrics.

Attempts to disrupt platform operations, bypass safeguards, interfere with moderation systems, exploit platform vulnerabilities, or circumvent platform restrictions shall be treated as serious violations.

2.4 Content Suitability, Sensitivity and Impact

Given SoTrue’s interactive and emotionally driven content experience, users and filmmakers are expected to be mindful of the potential impact of content and associated engagement mechanisms.

Content that may be distressing, triggering, harmful, or otherwise inappropriate for particular audiences may be subject to classification, restriction, age gating, reduced distribution, or removal.

Filmmakers, production houses, and authorised content owners are responsible for ensuring that content is appropriately classified based on age suitability, themes, language, violence, sexual content, emotional intensity, and other relevant factors.

2.5 Misinformation and Manipulated Media

Users must not share false, misleading, deceptive, or manipulated information that may cause harm to individuals, communities, organisations, public institutions, or public safety.

Manipulated media, including deepfakes, synthetic media, altered content, or edited material intended to mislead users regarding authenticity, origin, or factual accuracy is not permitted.

2.6 Intellectual Property Compliance

Users and filmmakers must respect intellectual property rights and may only upload, distribute, licence, or otherwise make available content they own or are authorised to use.

Unauthorised use of copyrighted material, trademarks, proprietary content, confidential information, or other protected material may result in content removal, account action, monetisation restrictions, and legal consequences.

2.7 Content Takedown and Removal Obligations

SoTrue shall act upon receiving actual knowledge in the form of a court order, government notification, valid legal request, or sufficiently supported user complaint to remove, disable access to, restrict, or otherwise take action regarding unlawful content within timelines prescribed under applicable law.

In cases involving content exposing private areas of individuals, nudity, impersonation, morphed imagery, child safety concerns, or other categories requiring expedited action under applicable law, SoTrue may take reasonable steps to remove or restrict access to such content within legally prescribed timelines.

2.8 Safety and Abuse Reporting

Users are encouraged to report content, conduct, behaviour, or activity that violates these Guidelines, platform policies, or applicable law using the reporting mechanisms made available through the platform.

SoTrue evaluates reports based on severity, credibility, potential harm, legal obligations, and platform integrity considerations.

High risk cases, including threats, exploitation, fraud, intellectual property violations, child safety concerns, platform manipulation, reward abuse, monetisation abuse, and unlawful activity may be prioritised for immediate review.

2.9 Rewards, Engagement Systems and Platform Integrity

SoTrue may provide engagement systems including XP accumulation, levels, tiers, streaks, quests, rewards programmes, collections, and other participation based features.

Users are required to participate in such systems in good faith.

Any attempt to manipulate engagement activity, generate artificial interactions, abuse rewards systems, exploit platform mechanisms, or otherwise obtain unfair advantages may result in enforcement action.

SoTrue reserves the right to recalculate, revoke, suspend, modify, invalidate, or remove rewards, XP balances, streaks, levels, tiers, recognition status, collections, engagement metrics, or related benefits where abuse, fraud, manipulation, or violations of these Guidelines are identified.

2.10 Enforcement and Penalties

SoTrue enforces these Guidelines through a combination of automated systems, human moderation, platform controls, user reporting mechanisms, and other enforcement processes considered appropriate by the platform. Violations of these Guidelines, the Terms of Use, applicable laws, or platform policies may result in actions including:

• Content removal

• Content restriction

• Reduced visibility

• Account warnings

• Feature restrictions

• Collection restrictions

• XP adjustments

• Reward revocation

• Tier adjustments

• Streak resets

• Quest disqualification

• Monetisation restrictions

• Filmmaker programme restrictions

• Temporary suspension

• Permanent account termination

The nature and severity of enforcement actions shall be determined based on factors including the seriousness of the violation, frequency of violations, potential harm, intent, platform integrity considerations, and applicable legal requirements.

Serious violations, including unlawful activity, child safety violations, fraud, impersonation, platform manipulation, monetisation abuse, intellectual property infringement, or threats to public safety, may result in immediate enforcement action without prior notice.

2.11 Grievance Redressal Mechanism

In compliance with the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 and other applicable laws, SoTrue has established a grievance redressal mechanism.

Users may submit complaints relating to content, user conduct, account actions, privacy concerns, intellectual property violations, rewards programmes, monetisation activity, filmmaker conduct, or violations of these Guidelines.

2.12 Compliance with Law Enforcement

SoTrue may provide information, assistance, cooperation, or support to courts, law enforcement authorities, government agencies, regulatory authorities, or other competent bodies where required under applicable law.

Where legally mandated, SoTrue may preserve, disclose, or provide access to information for the purposes of prevention, detection, investigation, prosecution, or adjudication of offences.

SoTrue may also cooperate with rights holders, payment providers, advertisers, licensors, and other relevant parties where necessary to investigate fraud, intellectual property violations, monetisation abuse, platform manipulation, or other unlawful activity.

2.13 Appeals and Review

Users and filmmakers may request review of certain enforcement actions taken against content, accounts, rewards eligibility, monetisation participation, platform access, or other platform privileges.

Appeals may be submitted through designated channels made available by SoTrue.

Submission of an appeal does not guarantee reversal, modification, or suspension of an enforcement action.

SoTrue shall review appeals within a reasonable period and may request additional information where necessary to assess the matter.

Nothing contained in this section shall limit SoTrue’s ability to take immediate action where required to protect users, filmmakers, platform integrity, legal compliance, or public safety.

2.14 Updates and Amendments

SoTrue reserves the right to update these Community Guidelines from time to time to reflect changes in platform functionality, legal requirements, regulatory obligations, filmmaker services, monetisation programmes, rewards systems, platform policies, safety standards, or operational practices.

Updated versions shall become effective upon publication through the platform or through other reasonable means of communication.

Continued access to or use of the platform following such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Community Guidelines.
